We do not live on site at night. Yet we live very close nearby a mere minutes’ drive away and we have full inside and outside CCTV access to watch your purrbaby from anywhere. Your kitty will sleep so well each night it will feel as if we never left. Our building is also alarmed. Our premises are security fenced.

Come for a tour and let us put your mind at ease by showing you how great our security and monitoring capabilities are.

MY CAT NEEDS TO BE FED AT EXACT TIMES OUTSIDE OF YOUR USUAL HOURS?

We have a limited number of timed feeders available, or you can bring your own. We are happy to set up timed feeding for cats who need it. Please check availability before checking in.

WILL MY CAT GET MIXED WITH OTHER CATS?

We do not practice mixing cats from different households. This is not advisable and against code of practise. Only if your cats are sharing a suite or are from the same household will they be allowed to access communal areas or the cattery floor at the same time. Cats who are more social can see and attempt to greet other cats as they wander past others while safely housed in their Suites.

MY CAT WAS HISSING AND GROWLING AT CHECK IN, IS THIS NORMAL?

Yes. This is very normal. Especially for cats unaccustomed to boarding. Your cat has just been taken out of their favourite and familiar territory. Because we cannot speak cat and tell them what is happening to them, they may express overwhelm of new scents, sounds and other cats by hissing, growling or becoming reactive. Most cats settle well into boarding after a few days. We also use sound, light and pheromone therapies to assist shy or reactive guests in settling in.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I COLLECT MY CAT EARLY IN REGARDS TO PAYMENT?

You are always welcome to collect your cat before the agreed check out date. If you are unsure of your check out date, we offer a “pay at checkout option” during non-peak periods, to allow for payment of used nights only. We ask for a $50 deposit for bookings under $500 and a $100 deposit for bookings over $500. During non-peak times we credit any paid unused nights for future use at The Purr InnⓇ Cat Hotel. Unfortunately, during peak times we must request payment before or at check in. Due to a very high demand for cattery services, and any unused nights at peak times are non-refundable
